Looks OK, but why such a small engine? Why not the 6.6?

Seriously, that's fine for picking the kids up from soccer, getting the groceries, and going to dinner, but how’s it going to handle towing a 7500 lbs load in the middle of summer up a grade?

its supposed to have 305 horse/560 torque...nothing less than an 05 lly 6.6 duramax that will pull 12,000lbs  :jawdrop:

If I wanted fuel economy, I would by a Prius.

    Size....
The 6.6 won't fit in bewteen the 1/2 ton rails.
Should work well but it's gonna be pricey.

    Bingo!
They couldnt fit it in the h2's either that's why they never made duramax hummers. though i'm sure we'll see them with the new 4.5 option. Although some aftermarket company makes an H2 with the 6.6 durmax, makes you wonder why GM can't do it with unlimited resources, but some joe blow company can  friggin OEM's

understandable, I'm hope GM isnt dumb enough to drop the big diesels in the 3/4+ tons
