In the continuiing search for the right info so I don't screw this one up and get saddled with the second relationship leaving me over it...
The Hallett has fiberglass tanks. Yeah, yeah I know, swap 'em for aluminum. Thing is, the ducats aren't there for that, but it'd be nice to know what the level is without doing the "dipstick" thing. Especially not underway.
Can I supply power to the senders and ground them to the block?
    Thanks in advance.

    That'll work.
You might consider installing a ground bus bar and grounding that to the block, then you'll have somplace to land stereo, lights, and gauge grounds. The 2304 works great for that. West Marine!

Yeah, I've got that going in at the dash for the gauges and tunes. I question the need to go all the way to the dash though, versus just running a 12 ga wire from the senders to a portion of the block/trans. Shorter distance.
I know that the best option in the long run is to call IMCO and have them whip up some tanks, but as I mentioned, it's time vs ducats. That and try to stay away from crap gas.
