    Can I use a rod with a floating pin with a factory piston?
    gen 6 502, looking at H beam rods. what are my options?

    Yes. If the factory piston has spirial lock grooves, OR you could use a button to keep the pin in...Either way the piston may need some slight machine work done........MP
    PS: Beware of pressing the pistons off the existing rods. When assembled the rods were heated to allow the pin to be pushed into the rod. You can't heat them for dis assembly and quite often break or crack the piston........

    maybe I will see how much HP those factory rods will take
