Need Some Help!!!

I busted one of the mounts of my Prestolite 3 mount Starter! #MDY7056
If anyone could check around there area (make some calls), for a used...(SARTER DRIVE END NOSE HOUSING) I would appreciate it BIG TIME!
I've tryed some local starter Gen. repair shops in my area...but no luck. It appears its not a very common marine starter, at least around here.
A pic of the starter can be seen in the Rex Marine Catalog #11 on page78 bottom right.

Try looking up Alumiweld or Alumaloy in a search engine. You might be able to fix it yourself! Good Luck!, Mike

Ya know I thought about that product...saw it on T.V. some time ago, but forgot the name. It looked pretty impressive, at least on TV...I'll look into it.

Just went on there site...no good for me, its only for aluminium type of metal. My starter is cast iron.

HD, Look @ the alumaly site again. They do have one for cast iron and steel! Mike
