Ok but back to my issue. So now that i have this beutiful new air scoop how do i secure it to my Holly Carb? I dont see any screws, bolt, latches etc.. The bottom Pic is what came off my carb so you can see what i am working with. When i get some day light i can post some pics of the exsposed carb so you can see what is there.

My old Sanger had that style scoop. It had a spark arrestor holding it down. Some say the spark arrestors are restrictive, others say they aren't.

I have a plate like that but that would mean i woudl have to drill this stainless steel. wouldlove to avoid if at all possible..
So will the air cleaner bolt hold this down enough? I woudl think so as in a car thost style air cleaners are pretty attached...

I've used the air cleaner bolt to hold my scoops on single carbs since 1976. Haven't lost one yet.
