Cruisers Donate to Prevent Domestic Violence
Karl Ecker, President of One Summer Night Cruisers, a Lake Havasu City car club, presents a check for $2000 to Sue Harris of The Interagency Council. This donation is made in memory of the late Terri Leanne Raymond. Jerry Raymond is shown here with his wife's picture and is surrounded by family and other Club members. The $2000 check is earmarked for use by The Interagency Council to aid victims of domestic violence.
The guy to my right just lost his wife the day after Thanksgiving to a massive heart attack she was only 53yrs old, hopefully this gives him a lasting memory of the good his wife helped to do
This is my last year serving as President (self imposed term limit) of the car club I started, I am happy to say that in 5 short years we became a legal and viable charity in Lake Havasu, with this our 5th donation to the Domestic Violence center the total now racks up a nice $8200

Good job Karl, that's awesome. Raising money for charity is no easy task that can be very rewarding.... I have been working on some fundraising for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, it's been going pretty good.
