Blower Intake

Has anybody seen an intake like this?Will it work?Looks like a tunnel ram with the top removed and a adapter plate.

I bought this intake with a blower and other parts.
Not as tall but the same idea.

My buddy had Don Hampton make a blower intake for his `70 BOSS 9. That's what Don did to a tee, cut off the top and welded on a plate to mount the blower. He had no other choice, not a lot of supercharger intakes for BOSS 9's laying around.

here's one from BDS , same principle ...just lower
due to the high costs for a custom fabbed intake , a few guys down here have done the same thing with regular tunnel rams and adapted the blower to them
