will a rooster booster work with a jc i thought you had to have a jg! just a thought!
Yep, rooster booster does require a 2-piece bowl.
Ive got one I'll let go for $30.00 Im in Lake Elsinore, let me know if your interested
Well I definitely have a JC jet so I guess I am stuck with the roost that I have!
Maybe I'll contact www.roostwer.com and see if he has a decal that says " Need Roost?".
Bummer
Thanks guys
ok dumb question. what is a rooster booster exactly?
Mike, the Rooster-Booster is a cast aluminum, 8-degree transition housing. Installs between the bowl and the nozzle housing. Does little for the boat except add some additional "up-angle" for a higher rooster. CP still had them listed in their catalog a few years back.
It's just a big wedge! But instead of bending the bolts, they have 2 flanges with the bend in the middle ( usually 8 degrees ).
I don't mean to sound like a jerk, but why would you ever want one? You can kick up a nice roost without the booster and they basically limit your trim options and slow you down.
Why would you EVER want to spend money on something that slows you down besides letting your sweetheart ride shotgun?
