    What is the weight difference between the 12 and 15?

    Lighting ET 24 on the left and a true Yamaha 24 on the right.
    The 12" is a different animal, it's about 75LBS lighter than the 15".

    UT has short mans/shaft syndrome........mines light and short and a true Yamaha, his is a queen ...bla bla bla....

    Does not look like it. Perhaps an XR-6 Gearcase. Must have an adapter plate to hook into the champ mid-section. Damn nice.

    I just put a champ midsection on my boat,made a adapter plate for the sportmaster gearcase and cut down and resplined the drive shaft.Now I'am in the middle of rigging the steering with a NYdal cable set up.been working all winter on it.can't wait for spring
