If anybody wants to save some $$$ next time they stay at the BlueWater Resort and Casino in Parker, the Spring Boat Show at the Fairplex, June 5-8 has a pretty swinging deal. If you're one of the first 50 people to buy an admission ticket at the boat show, any day, you get one of these 3-day/2-night accommodations certificates for free! What's cool about these certificates is they are good even on the weekends! The only exclusions are a few holidays and they don't expire until mid-November 2008. If you go to the Spring Boat Show this Thursday, opening day, admission is only $2 and it's free if you show an Auto Club card. Should be a pretty good incentive to get there early!

Quite a few happy people at the Spring Boat Show today. About 25 people got in line at the ticket booth early (before 11:00am -- show opened at 12 noon) and they all got the free 3-days/2-nights certificates for BlueWater. But even when the show opened at 12 noon, people just walking up to the ticket booth still got there in time to be one of the first 50 ticket buyers of the day. Some didn't even know that the promotion was going on -- they were pretty stoked to get the bonus freebie! Friday should be a really easy day to get certificates.
