POKER RUNS WEST annual Tahoe event will be JULY 5. The FIRECRACKER 100 will be covered by Performance Boats Magazine with video, still, web site and print coverage. Poker Runs America will also cover.
FRIDAY JULY 4-------We will be at the house in Tahoe Keys at 2228 Balboa which is the third waterway to the left after entering the westerly Tahoe Keys entrance from Lake Tahoe. Stop by and say hi.
Friday evening will find many of us watching the fireworks from our boats in front of the casinos.
SATURDAY JULY 5
9:30AM Boats meet up in front of the entrance to the keys about 500 feet off shore.
10:00 Helicopter formation running shot over to the Rubicon Gold Coast area. Form a V off of the Eliminator pace boat, hold your position about 30' apart, think like a goose or duck, do not pass anyone or the pace boat. IF AND WHEN THE CHECKERED FLAG GOES UP YOU CAN GO AT SPEED TO THE RUBICON MEETING AREA.
10:20 Individual helicopter shots with boats floating in the aqua water of the Rubicon Gold Coast area.
10: 50 Group run to Garwoods at North Shore. JACKETS ON!!!!!!!!!!
1:30 After lunch group departure toward Chambers Landing or wherever you want to spend your afternoon playing. After the group departure you can spin off and enjoy your afternoon as you see fit.
7:00pm BBQ awards party at 2228 Balboa in the Keys. Come by boat or car. We will present awards about 8:00 so those who need daylight to get across the lake have light to do so.
Pictures or cd of each boat will be handed out at the BBQ or if you cannot attend we will mail them to you.
Contact me with any questions, mail in your registrations, go down two prop sizes and about 6 jet sizes if carburated and come ready to run.

Thought I would post up a few of the boats that will be in Tahoe. I know there are others lurking in the shadows so feel free to add to the list.
Since we are BBQing for everyone we will need to limit to about 25 boats. Entry is for two people per boat others are $20 to cover the food.

I think we're going to miss this one. We are going up the 8th-14th for the Celebrity Golf Tournament and I don't see how we could swing both weekends.

We want pictures of the King at Tahoe again. Crash at the house in the Keys on the 4th do the run and go home or crash again and go home Sunday. Heck you could even sleep on your boat for that extra special adventure. Lots of room in the master shower at the house.

I have heard from another 10 or more boats that are coming. This may be one of the bigger Tahoe gatherings in a few years.
Look at an earlier post for the schedule. Do not be late, that helicopter costs alot of money and we leave on time.
Here is the format==group run at 55mph, no jackets required to rubicon area, group start from rubicon to garwoods with jackets on, after lunch group start towards Chambers and gas stop at Obexers. Afternoon open for free time. BBQ awards party at 7 in Keys.
New parking regulations are in effect at Tahoe for trailers. You might want to consider leaving the trailers with the marina, the cost is $8.00 a day for a 3 axle plus a $20.00 one time fee for them moving the trailer around with a fork lift. One more example of a city council that has no idea where the money comes from to pay them. Unbelieveable.....................:idea:

Well I don't have the picture but it was great!!! It sucks that Fish and Game made us really late but we caught up for a group run and ran like hell.. Had a great run going with fenom and jaquar -till fenom left us like we were standing still:jawdrop:did the remaining run with Doug we loved it. After lunch at Garwoods (awesome place) and a few drinks not as much as HUD
A bunch of us went to Sand Harbor and Hung out. Patty ann had a pink tool belt on with shots in it. THanks Patty that was a lot of fun. Justin showed up with Hot chicks and partied with us. It was crazy fun kinda like friday night in shasta but no Erika:cry:
