when i turn on the intercooler pump with tap water in the tank.
there is a noticeable drop in idle rpm when the pump is on.
anyone have experiance with this situation and how much/what jetting did you change to to help it?
did you richin the idle only?
or idle screw and primary carb jets, increase acc pump shot nozzle?
    any help is great.
i am fixing an increase in cam/boost adjustment of 200HP.

Thats surprising. Its not like there isnt water in the chiller before the pump is on. Without giving it to much thought, are you sure its not an amp drop/ alternator charging deal What water pump are you using?

i am using a DEPCO washdown pump[20 amps i think]5GPM at 45 psi.i have used the pump for 1 yr in a 8lb boost setup without an issue.i have 2 yellow top optima's with a 100 amp gm 1 wire.it did start a little rough with static water in the cooler and as it warmed smoothed untel i hit to circulate fresh.cycling the pump just enough to refresh the water while going to the staging lanes.
    thanks for reading my post!answering!
any more questions i will gladly answer!
here is some info from the engine on the dyno.
went from 854 HP nonintercooled[dry cooler] to 998 with water in the cooler.that is hardlyt a restriction.the open area[subtracting for the cooler tubes] of the intercooler is about the same as a 4bbl intake.the BSFC #'s for the NON I/C is .575 and with the I/C is .525 both at 6K RPM.i dont have a A/F %.EGT is 1350 2' from head non I/C and 1398*F I/C .
