Thread: Folsom for the last time this year

We went out to Folsom today for the last time this year because my lay up period starts tomorrow. You couldn't of asked for a nicer day! We ended up going up the North Fork and almost reaching Rattlesnake Bar. There is still plenty of water to go boating and most of the hazards are well marked and the 5 m.p.h. speed limit does not seem to be enforced. Thanks again Jory for going with me. If anyone is interested in going out in the next couple weeks I'd be happy to be the boat bitch/navigator.

I don't know the name of this launch ramp but it is on the other side of lake from Granite Bay.

This is when you go up the North Fork and come to the first turn where it narrows.

Look in the distance and that pile of rocks and dirt is usually underwater and we boat right over it..I might hang left in the future.

Last year at this time I drove my truck in the lake faster than 5 mph, The good news for now is they found a way to keep water in there

Very nice pics. Glad to see I'm not the only one who sneaks out for weekday boating.

The lake is 8' higher than it's lowest level last year.

One promising thing is the last time the lake was this low at this time of year was 1994 and the lake was completely full in July of 1995.
