    Looks like the folks at Weismann have been busy -- if you want to check out their new twin-prop surface drive system, there's YouTube video of some Elsinore testing at:

    Kinda looks like a Duo-Prop Arneson surface drive.

    This really looks great.
    I'll bet it has better leverage than the old Merc dual prop surface drive.
    Transmission.... What are they using?

    Is this it? Seen this at Elsinore a while back. They were running two in line LS 7's (for testing). The front engine drive shaft goes around the rear engine and both engines have trannys to the drives. They were testing props. This boat has a sound all to it's own. Bitchen boat for sure.
    Just found the youtube video, not the same boat. Pretty sure the drives on this boat are Weismann also.
