It depends on the type of foam. You might try using acetone in a little area and see if that doesnt melt your foam away. There are chemicals that will do this just makes a mess.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY SUGESSTIONS ON HOW TO GET THE OLD FOAM OUT OF THE BOW OF MY BOAT. I ASK BECAUSE MY TRAILER HOOK ON THE END OF THE BOAT IS LOOSE. ANY SUGESSTIONS WOULD HELP

The only way to get it out is to get in there and start chipping it out.
Yup, try a chisel and a vacuum cleaner... You can spray it back in later.
And I see you're from AZ so get on it now bro. Don't wait until summer to climb up into the bow. eek!
Should I be concerned that there is no foam in the bow area where the hook is on my boat
No, the foam is in there for added floatation.
just leave it loose, my buddy is in the same situation. his has been loose for over 5 years.
im going to climb in there and have a foam chipping party. ive already removed alot of foam i just dont have any more room to work in there. jawdrop

The bolts broke free on the hook. Turns out that the boat slid back about 1 foot on the bunks and the front end was very light. I had to strap to the throttle pedal to keep the front down.
