Why dont you go to Wal-mart and buy a 750 pump? They are $18 and they will take the 3/4" tubing that you already have. I cant see why you would need much more than 750 for you boat. I have the 750 and it works great!!!
From what i've read any bilge pump over about 750gph requires a 1 1/8" exit hole. Has anyone gotten away with anything smaller? I want to keep using my old bilge too, does this mean I need to drill a 1 1/8" hole somewhere through the back of the boat?!? I know some of you guys run big pumps but I've never seen a hole that big.

Dah I thought this thing was a steal for $40 when I usually see them online for more than double that. Maybe I could use a smaller fitting and just have it shoot really far?
What size pump did you get? Did it say Titanic on the side? LOL
1250gph
It's a Queen Mary replica
Id say to guess! Well since you have it already you might want to try getting a fitting to neck it down from 1 1/8 to 3/4 it will be like an extra jet drive for you! LOL
Found a 1000gph pump that will work with a 3/4" hose at rex marine, all good
