New guy checking in here. I stumbled onto these forums last night. I was amazed at the history and stories in the archives regarding, Roger Weiman, his dad, Schuster, etc. I knew some of this because I've owned my Weiman since 1975, and remember stuff from the original owner, who lived next door.
I had no idea there was this interest and activity in these old boats any longer. I still run mine once a year at Kings River, but rarely hit the river any more. Too many big fast boats, and there's alcohol involved.
Anyway, I'm hoping Old Rigger checks in. It doesn't look like he's very active here any longer.
