Jets in larger boats???

I was wondering why you don't see jets in larger boats anymore like late newer 26 footers for example. Is it because inboards are less expensive to rig? Is it because manufacures don't want to? Or is it a weight issue. Just wondering

I'm just finishing a 26+- aluminum hull
its going to have a berk 12jc with an "a"
impeller.the plant is going to be a small block ford.
i think it will do what i need it to do.

I run a 26' Sleekcraft jet. It is a aircraft carrier in the docks, but is great otherwise.

Im sure we will begin to see more and more big Boats running the Dual Jet setup
