My boat is 33 years old. It runs good. Just went from Laughlin to Havasu Saturday. No problems. What kind of oil should I use? I'm currently running Valvoline 20/50 racing oil. And where can I get the old style fuel filters. Mine attaches to the transom area but it is the old skinny type canister not the new ones that look like oil filters.
    THanks a bunch. Jay

if it says fram on ur fuel filter that you can only get those at a speed shop r a performance shot. i have the same one in my boat and you only need to chane the filter inside. you loosen the bolt on top and replace the filter the screw the bolt back on. oil filter. 20/50 valvoine sounds good altough i use valvoline racing strait 40w. but i'm into the chevy motor thing now.
    good luck
