What's happening there in the first photo?
RD They're dropping it into the drink....Kinda like Heli-skiing where they drop you at the top of the mountain from a chopper...

RD They boated some rivers with no roads into them. Helicpoters are plentyfull and fairly cheap. I'm not sure if they were getting dropped off or getting picked up at this spot. I'm sure that it wasn't supposed to be unloaded like this though. These are the 16' Eagle Sports with the 240HP sport jet mercs in them. The red one is the one that we raced there in 2001 worlds. Fun little boats with a top speed of 64 MPH.

jungleboy, is that your white boat on the eagle racing site wall of shame smacked up on the tree? Yes, and the Red/black one is too!! The white one was a slight diversion due to poor skills (I shut off the motor sliding over a gravel bar and didn't get it started in time after). The red/black one was a meeting with a rock at 75 MPH in 6 inches of water while learning to drive. I've gotten better since then, Thank God. Haven't smacked a boat up for 4 years now.

I crawled home with no boots, glasses with a bruised kidney and damaged ACL. I was a sad guy for a few weeks. I ordered the white 21 after that wreck. Glad to hear your boat is coming along good. Spring is coming and I'm looking forward to burning gas again.

and to think, we spend our time trying to avoid shallow water, rocks, and most of all, land. That's gotta be a rush though. Especially the part where you try and explain to people who don't grasp the concept of how you wrecked your boat into a tree. Great pics JB.
