Do you guys think i should be running a rear sump set up on a stock 460 (365hp)?

    What about baffles?

I have baffles in my stock 460 with a sump pickup. Not sure if baffles required but I would think it helps keep the oil from sloshing away from the pickup.

Ant, you don't need a rear sump as long as you have a truck pan[bigger capacity]and baffles in the pan.

    AR,
Here's a referal to an earlier thread on the subject of marine oil pans. Your application is different but the benefits and principles are the same. Some good info here.
