Thread: To droop or not to droop

    Well this is a 19' Southwind Tunnel Dragster, the one with the really set back pump. Right now it has a dominator bowl, 2" spacer and a wedge in front of the PD. Looking at the pump from the side, the nozzle is about 3" above the ride plate which really doesnt seem right. When I bought the boat it had these parts in a box but the pump was taken apart. So I dont know what set up the boat had in the past.

    Most of the Southwind TD s have a droop on them that I have seen on hear.BP races one and he has a droop on it so I say Droop it.Thoes are kick ass boats I am hioping to find one some day.

    If I were you, I would post your last description and question over on the Banderlog board and try and get both Duane Oberlander (HTP) and Jack McClure (MPD) to comment. They are both very knowledgable about this hull.
