The edelbrock performer is low and works great to
4500 RPM. The performer RPM or Weiand stealth may be to tall. The Edelbrock web-page has a good tech
info on carb height.
Just wondering what intake manifold(s) would work best on a stock 460 in my CVX-20. My biggest concern is enough clearence in the tight engine compartment. Any suggestions? How about exhaust (headers, manifolds)? Thanks

When I first got my cvx-20, it had a 460 and a stealth and it cleared, but barely. The engine compartment and hatch had that heat insulating dynamat put on it and you could see the spark arrestor's impression in it. If you used a drop base spark arrestor, it would clear no problem. As far as I know, the Stealth is THE intake for 460's and 429's.
i would go with the stealth its a good manifold for a jet boat! wink

Hey thanks for the info. Does anyone have the part number for this manifold from, lets say Summit racing? Thanks
I run a Edelbrock Torquer II with a K&N marine filter from JEGS. Fits perfect on my CVX 20 460
If you can swing the cash and find one get the cobra jet alum. it fits I know and you talk bout ports O YEA
