I'd tell you, but then I'd have to kill you! wink
Check out Lasvegas***boats Plenty of lake talk there.
Nothin wrong with Mead at all. Infact, we are so tired of the Havasu BS on holidays, thats where you'll find us come 4th 'O July.

Went to Meade last year just before the Fourth of July. Hotter than Hades....112-116 but other than that it was excellent. Stayed in Henderson at the Station casino so it was 30 mins to Lake. Went through the narrows from Boulder basin to Virgin basin and on the other side Water Skied for 10 minutes in a straight line on glass like I've never seen before. Can get windy though. One day on our way to Lake a wind storm kicked up and I could see white caps from road so turned around and played at the "Tables" for the rest of the day.
I think Mead is going to be the spot. My family is kind of sick of the strings

It's just not a relaxing weekend at the river.
Mead is great, much bigger than havasu or mohave and not so much the party sandbar atmosphere. Big big water when the wind blows though, don't get caught in the wrong place in that situation with an 18 footer, not much fun, nor very safe. Close to vegas too about a half hour from boulder city.
We have never been to Mead.I have tried to get reservations at temple bar but no luck always booked up.
It's horrible. Evil in fact. Dead fish heads everywhere. Maybe even a Mafia kill or two. Don't even think about it...you'd love Havasu way better. Especially if you drive a yacht and make big waves.
