Just got the latest issue of Poker Run Magazine today, and Hot Boat over the week-end, but no where did I find a date for the Havasu Poker Run. Has a date been set yet? Does anyone know and is it posted anywhere I may not be aware of...

Jokers Wild canceled the Polar Bear Poker Run they had scheduled for Havasu. They said they would plan it for next year to get the attendance up. Wish it was this year.

The Heatwave 2003 poker run will indeed be on April 26, 2003 (thanks HH!) Sure to be a blast, new dinner plans have been worked out as well.
We also have a poker run scheduled for your stomping grounds on Mead. The “Sinnin’ and Grinnin’” run will be held on May 16 & 17, 2003. The Fiesta Hotel and Casino is the host hotel and Lake Mead Marina is hosting the staging area.
I’ll also be attending the Hallett Regatta to experience some of your hospitality!

Thanks for both dates, I've got them on the old calendar, along with the Hallett Regatta on fathers day week-end, and also 1 week before the Catalina Ski Race. What a way to kick off the boating year.
FYI, the door and ladder are in the Hallett, and Ron (Custom Canvas) cut the love seat down and built in a place for a large cooler. GT is reworking the EFI, and motors go back in soon. We think the problem I had at the last (Havasu) Poker Run was caused by the mufflers; too much back pressure and fouled out many spark plugs. So I'm installing IMCO's mega gatlings (6" by prox 18"). I'm getting anxious to test, but by then our fabulous winter weather will end and it'll turn cold and damp...

While you have your calendar out, don't forget the SCOPE poker run...It's earlier than usual this year due to planned dock construction in Long Beach....May 30 - June 1...
