how soon is this going to start and how much is it going to cost
Mesa Airlines (America West flight partner) will begin serving Ontario with two daily flights to Lake Havasu, and one additional daily flight to Phoenix. I have a contact with the airlines. He is working out the details and will e mail me so I can post. Personally, I would NOT expect jet service, but the Beechcraft 1900.
I figure a CanadaAir regional jet could do the trip in 40 minutes tops.
A real shame they are not flying to JWA or Long Beach!
A Dash 8 would be better but weight restrictions in hot climate limit seating.
We will see.

Mesa has got to come up with something to do with all those parked 1900's.
That's friggin' awesome!
Now I can make my friends pull the boat out there...while I'm sippin' cocktails!
Do we have to dust a couple crops on the way there?
A couple years agao I flew into Havasu with Mesa and thought the plane needed work. It plane interior looked old and the engine was leaking oil. I think I will drive.
TCHB:
the engine was leaking oil. "That's not a leak, it's a seep."
"If it isn't seeping oil, it doesn't have enough in it!!"
A buddy flew Laughlin Air. It was a turbo prop, He said it was the scariest flight of his life. He was in the Army 8 years, flew all over the world and did 30 something jumps. Never again he said. He took a cab to Vegas and booked a flight on a jet back to L.A.
TCHB:
the engine was leaking oil. It's marking it's territory.
eek! We have two 1900's to ferry the boys around the countryside, they are real cheap after that last incident down in Charlotte recently....... eek!
