What does it cost to register a newer trailer in CA?
Dude...not for a new boat. Probably a 94 - 97 Trailer 3 axle. I didn't realize that newer trailers cost any more? What is it based on age? Original sale price? The boat on top doesn't have anything to do with the trailer, right?
I have a few older trailers now and registration costs were somewhere in the $35 range for a permanent plate on each.
Rivercrazy- what was the price your buyer paid to register the trailer in CA? Did he get a permanent plate? Thanks again for all the info.

GIFT in the state of Cal don't pay tax. Can't tax the free......just make sure that the seller turns in his release of liability saying the same...GIFT

If the boat is registered in Californa now you can go to Arizona and register the boat there with no sales tax.
