Well, I was having issues with the boat, so the weekend kinda blew. Could not make it idle. Either a bum carb or intake manifold leak. I triple checked my timing. Scratching my head right now. Didcha blow out the carb??? air bleeds clogged?

Didcha blow out the carb??? air bleeds clogged? No, and maybe that's it. While I was at the lake with the ass end of the boat in the water, I pulled off the metering blocks and inspected them and blew them off with my lips. I could not blow out the air idle bleeds with my lips, I'm not that tallented
I think I will throw on my extra 750 just to rule out if it's the carb or the intake manifold.
One thing I did notice is that the idle mixture screws had cheap cork seals and when I pulled them out, two were barely wet and one was dry. This carb had been sitting on a non op boat for a few years. I need to ask if this thing was working before the dry dock time.
