There usually a few bad ass rides, but for the most part it's just your average off road stuff. I have seen $50,000 buggies to GEO trackers. I have rode in this race on two occassions, and can tell you for sure, it attracts some pretty serious drinking!!

Does the campground have hookups, or is running a generator OK?

A good website for San Felipe is www.sanfelipe.com.mx/ Most RV parks have full hookups. Pete's Camp however does not have hookups, but the camp sites are right on the beach.
