Which ever one you guys decide on, can Del and I go for a ride?
Here is my problem.....I have a great 21' Hallett Vector, while it is a great boat, everything you guys have is huge, and it has gotten me to thinking, am I rolling on the small side??? It's a good fast boat to be sure, but DAVE from DCB has a used 28 down there for about 62....I have been offered 70-75 for mine.....what do you guys think?? Should I roll into Daves boat? Or hang on to my classic kick ass, take names and chew bubble gum hot rod?? And since a vector is basically the same as a schiada, how well do these boats handle in rougher water?? I have only had it running up north a few times, and to the river once or twice out of Catherines....and a bunch of times down to the sandbar....have never had it in larger waved water...let me know what you guys think.....here is a pic of Daves boat....

Just curious, but what do you have into your boat to get 70-75 for it? Is it a v-drive Vector? If you can get that kind of dough for it then I'd sell it. I've seen twin turbo Schiadas sell for 60k. And I don't think that the vector and the Schiada 21 RC are basically the same. Same concept but 2 totally different boats.
Screw the DCB. Sell it and get a twin turbo Schiada. :rollside: I personally would go this way just because I like the smaller boats. And Schiadas are my fav. I dig the Vectors too though. And these hulls can handle some chop. If I want the luxury of a bigger boat, I'm sure I can bum a ride somewhere. :rollside:
Hang on to the Vector, those hulls kick ass cause that's what they were made for. It will handle some of the rougher water also.
Just depends on where you will be doing a majority of you boating. I would go for the boat at DCB. Ride on rough water will be much better and it opens many more bodies of water. Just my .02...
I'd have to see your Vector, but rolling into a 28' DCB, and putting 8k-13k in your pocket?
Get on the phone now, unless that Vector is really something special.
