    Has anyone been to Lake Powell in the last month or so? I know the water leval is way low and I am wondering if there are any problems launching.I am probably heading to Wahweap.

    I've gone to Powell every year, for the last six years. The water level has been going down every year, but it just makes for a different experience every year. Don't let the low water levels keep you from going, there is still plenty of lake. You won't regret it, but be carefull, Powell can be very addictive.

I was there last month, had a great time. There plenty of water and beaches to go around just the ramps have gotten scarce. Here's the Antelope ramp (now closed) Sept 18th 2003.

    Here's the Wahweap ramp (still open) same day Sept.18, 2003. It can get muddy, careful, if you don't have a 4x4.

    Here's the houseboat marina between Stateline ramp and lone rock. The green areas in the distance are normally underwater.
