Looking to upgrade to a bigger boat this winter. We were thinking about the 25 daytona, but we are not too hot on not having the room compared to a v-hull. So it looks like we are looking at the 28' Eagle if the price is right, but the 26' might be more realistic. We are thinking of getting the 28' with the HP500 or the 26' with the 496 HO. Anyone with these two boats please give me pro's and con's as to which power to get, the type of ride between the two, we are not much into speed, mid 70's to low 80's is fine for us. We only boat in Lake Havasu and we always tend to have a crew of 6-8 person at a time. Can you also please give us some actual speed #'s for us. Thanks for any and all help.
