This weekend! Boats from all over the country in attendance. Raffling off a new 280ss Merc. Proceeds to go to the make a wish foundation. Drag racing for bragging rights (so I hear). Etc.

Nice. I am not as fortunate. Not leaving till Friday night around 6:00. Be there before 9:00 hopefully. Boating Saturday and Sunday. Keep an eye out for the blue and white Elim. 19' Daytona and come say hi.

What club meeting? Is this local to the Indy area? I would be intrested in learning more.

Welcome to the boards Wild Man. Nice to have another Indy boater here. What kind of rig do you have?
Not sure what you mean about a club meeting. This weekend down in Carrollton, KY there is a big gathering of mostly outboard hot boats. Nevertheless, I am always looking for someone else to boat with on a local basis. I live just south of Geist, but my wife and I frequent Morse, Salamonie, and most recently fell in love with Patoka.
Let me know if and when you will be on the water and we should try to hook up.

I picked up a project boat the guy got tired of,,,,, it's a 73 18' sidewinder, modified berk jet with a mild 460 FBB.
High performance boats in Grand rapids did the pump rebuild. The boat still needs interior and paint, it's my winter project. The better half wants me to get the house remodel done first, so it won't see the lake this year. I have just been surfing the boards learning stuff, glad to here there are other jet boaters in Indy.

Event was absolutely f'n awesome. I would guess about 125+ boats. I have about 25 pictures still waiting to be developed. I will post them next week. Check back, I have shots of some real nice rigs.
