lake rayburn out of jasper is a pretty good place to go. not a lot of high performance rides, but a few. mostly hangin out drinkin and checkin out the scenes/ the usual place is rattlesnake island out of twin dikes park.
it was not as crowded this weekend guess the weather kinda held them off.
i've never been, but a lot of hstn folks do the river(brazo's). there are some prior post on it.
We go to Lake Houston almost every weekend. It is now a constant level lake and supplies drinking water to northwest Houston. We also occasionally go to Lake Sommerville. On lake Houston we go up to river, always glass and very few boats.
