I have been thinking of a get-together in Up-State N.Y. Im just wondering who would be interested? Im thinking of Keuka Lake. This is one of the Finger Lakes.
Fat-Rat I know you know where Im talking about. I think Hammondsport would be perfect. There is a motel on the end of the lake with a boat launch in the parking lot.
The lake is fairly small. Should be ok for Hydros.
If there is enough interest I will try to get more info.
Im thinking maybe a weekend in August.

In the heart of wine country............very scenic, I don't know whats up yet for next summer and I've always wanted to take my boat up there, I'll let you know.

Keuka sounds like a good idea. I have some old friends that live up on the lake that I haven't talked to in years. This would be a good excuse to reestablish contact and possibly get them involved. LMK.
Im in. That lakes bigger then the one i use (Swinging Bridge Res in Monticello,NY)
It is a real nice lake. On the one end is Hammonsport. At the other end is Penn Yan. There is a nice canal with a park and picnic area.
On the end closest to Penn Yan is a sand bar.
I have been there many times for antique boat race.
I guess first is to find out how many people are interested. wink
I'm interested. The drive isn't too far from where I live and my neighbor owns a cottage on that lake. I'm pretty sure Keuka has a speed limit though, which sucks.
