That article you cite does not have much info on what is missing.....but you sure are ready to blame Rumsfeld. Why not blame the Iraqis??
I don't think there are enough troops available to guard everything in the country from thieves. Pretty shortsighted behaviour.

Anyway most of that crap wasn't stolen, they found it locked away in the basement and "preserved" at some of the concerned Iraqi curator's homes. In fact, some of the curator's where soo concerned about preserving their historically significant artifacts, they were trying to sell it for cash. Hey Cat, why don't you get a job there and leave us all alone!!

We did it with minimal collateral damage and loss of innocent lives (the most amazing war in the history of mankind) and, we lost over one hundred and twenty-five brave, loyal, freedom loving, US patriots, our neighbors, our US soldiers. They enlisted voluntarily and laid down their lives so that dirt bags like you can whine about a friggin' museum that was looted by people who knew what was there and had the place targeted. So you don't like what we did in Irag because we didn't keep their museum pieces from being stolen by the people who LIVE IN THE FRIGGIN' COUNTRY!
The only thing weaker than your judgement is your inability to hide your hatred of this country.
