Do you have to pay unsecured proptery tax in either of these states if you register your boat there. In orange county I think it is 1% of the boats value. Any help would be great. Thanks

Not in AZ, you just pay by the foot 22ft is about $110. a year instead of $600 p tax and $5.00 for reg.
My 20' Spectra comes to about 60$. They charge by the foot. $30 of that is for the trailer at DMV. No Property tax though. Below I did a cut and paste of NV Dept. of Wildlife fees.
