    GASOLINE SOLUTION!
    >The Saudis are boycotting American goods. We should return the favor.

Nice work JBB, but we covered this topic this morning and upon further research we found:
    1. It's a chain letter
Chain letters are unreliable as sources of information (see below) and ineffective as instruments of activism. In spite of their often vast circulation, email chain letters are simply ignored or deleted by most users and mistrusted even by many of those who actually bother to read them through.
Sure, there are plenty of credulous folks quick to click their Forward buttons every time a worthy-sounding cause or pet peeve is mentioned in an email, but that doesn't mean they'll follow through with action, and action is of the essence (if we're to take these messages seriously). Previous experience (e.g., with the much-touted "Gas Out" chain letters of 1999, 2000 and 2001) has shown that even when such chain letters circulate so widely as to win national media attention, their real-world effectiveness is negligible.
    2. It's mistargeted
The effort misses the mark in two ways:
It wrongly assumes that all oil-producing countries in the Middle East fund or support terrorism.
It wrongly assumes that simply avoiding the purchase of certain brands of gasoline listed above will reliably keep consumers' money out of the hands of Middle Eastern oil producers.
    3. The facts and figures are simply wrong
The most critical inaccuracy is this: Of the five or six companies lauded in these messages for allegedly importing no Middle East oil whatsoever, only two — Sinclair and Sunoco — actually have a right to be on that list. All the other companies do, in fact, use varying amounts of petroleum imported from the Gulf region.
I don't know about you, but I'd have to waste several tanks of "terrorism supporting" fuel just to get to the nearest Sinclair or Sunoco gas station. Wouldn't that be a wee bit counterproductive?

Nice info, but we live in calif. Those companies don't exist here, just the camel jockey companies. Shell , chevron. What about 76 and am/pm

Who cares what those little third world people do.
Their people dont have enough financial impact to make a difference to us. scumbags.
I'll be looking for those gas stations too.

Well I'm going to boycott camels, towels, fan belts, funny mustaches, goat meat and sand.
I say lets hurry up and buy all their damn oil. Then when they are out we'll still have some!
(Or at least get serious about power cell technology!)
Also consider a boycott of French imports. Like what? Cheese, and croissants I guess.

Why don`t we just blow them up. I say kill `em all. Not Africa, at least not yet. A tribe from Niger is making me an Ivory handle for my six shooter out of a rhino horn. Then you can blow them up too.
