I still think you got a boomin' deal on the Commander. BTW, since I am such a nut about Indy car racing, I thought this might interest you. In the 1973 Indy 500, Lloyd Ruby started on the outside of the 5th row in the Commander Motor Homes/Slater Eagle/Offy. He qualified at 191.622 MPH, about 7 MPH off the pole speed.
Lloyd was out after 21 laps with a burned piston, finishing 27th. Looks like that was the only time Commander was a primary sponsor.
