    Its a Mud pit!!!---j/k
Haven't been down that way in 9-10 years..Brothers friend has his place at fishermans(just downstream) and still loves it. Water level at that part of river is questionable however, jets are your safer bet(plenty of damaged props and shear pins) and knowing where the sandbars are is a BIG plus. Going upriver is nice and a bit quieter and if memory serves correct a speed limit through the indian reservation.

We go to Martinez / Fishers alot. The Lake is nice and the river is pretty mellow compared to the Big boat Parker trash, or Show off Havisu area. More family oriented.

If u like to wakeboard martinez is the shit for thing AM.. THe water is like 5 dgrees warmer than the river water and its like glass. The water on the river stay relativly smooth all day and theres hardly any big boats down there. The sandbar is a great place to hang during the day.. LOts of cool people to party with.

I would not go there in a 29' Nordic, if that is what you have judging by your screen name. Shallow water and lots of sandbars. I have not been there since 96 and don't miss it. Just my.02

Go to Parker or run up the gorge at Havasu, similar to down river with deeper water. The scenery is better than Martinez as well. Just my opinion.
