...just as an FYI...we moderators get ALOT of people whining about posts. In fact, riodog, there are people who whine about your posts...and we have to make tough decisions. Most of the time, you never hear about it.What are they saying about me?

I can't believe you guys are ragging on Havasu Hangin' and Rexone. You must have a completely different impression of them than I do. I know them as two of the most level headed and jovial people on this site.
Surely this is just a case of lashing out at a couple of guys that are seen as authority figures. These guys are amoung the more liberal moderators on the site (back when Mike was moderating).

No SPAM. This confused people at first. What I am looking to avoid are people selling stuff that is completely off topic, or massive amounts of completely unrelated posts especialy computer generated scripts.
Alright, I was going to drop it, but now I just have to ask......Could someone explain how Tina's post was "selling stuff that is completely off topic."? I assumed topic meant boating related, but since this was posted in an "open forum", I'm now not sure. So perhaps the concept of "open forum" will also need to be explained. Since she's not a sales person, I guess we need "selling" defined too.
But if my questions are too tough, feel free to call me and whiner and leave it at that.

While we are on the subject of your posts...I do notice that 85% of them contain some kind of "look at how direct I am" reference. riopuppy- if you are being direct, you don't need to say it. We get it...you can move on.

Maybe the present moderators should be replaced with a bunch of twelve-year-old girls who's identities are kept secrete and are told to get rid of all nasty words and make sure everyone is really sweet and nice to one another and we can all just get along and feel the love!riopuppy- are we reading the same posts? I mentioned two things:
1. Moderators get alot of complaints from the members...some we act on, some we don't. Either way, we look like the bad guy.
2. Don't get pissed at the moderators, with the exception of porn, they are just acting on the wishes of the members.
Now, riopuppy, it would seem that you have "issues" with authority figures. Please answer the following questions:
1. Do you find yourself beating small animals on a consistant basis?
2. Do you like it when your boyfriend handcuffs you and uses his "baton" on you?
3. Do you go on an internet forum, and constantly whine about how "the man is keeping you down"?
If you answered yes to any one of the above questions, then perhaps therapy should be looked into.
Now, in case you didn't see it above, let me say this again...

All complaints from the "report post" buttons are signed. We know who sent them. However, my gripe is with the people who use the "report post" button, but don't have the balls to speak up on the thread. It would appear that we agree on this- why does it takes you 160 words to agree?
Now, I've been here for almost 2 years, and I can honestly say that with the exeception of the porn being gone, it really hasn't changed by having moderators. If something isn't edited by a moderator, then admin would have to do it...a moderator is just another set of eyes.
So may I make a suggestion, riopuppy?
Quit whining like a little girl.
If you don't like it here...then leave. If "the man is keeping you down" here...then leave.
Go hang out on your "Barbie Collectors" message boards...and whine to them 24/7 about how "is not in me to twist, prevert or alter the truth and what is right and just to appease the sensitivities of an individual that just wants to hear what suits his or her aggenda in this life (on my Barbie collection)."
