I just returned from 10 days in Laughlin and Lake Mohave! What a vacation! While leaving town Saturday morning about 9 of us stoped at the Dennys coffee shop in Bullhead City to have breakfast. During our breakfast about twelve pieces of shit gang banger type latino dudes (towing pwc's behind slammed mini trucks with hydraulics) showed up and the shit talking was on. It was very crowded and the hostess was doing her best to get every body a seat as soon as she could. She even asked people standing and waiting if they wanted a complimentary beverage for being patient.
She recommended to the fu#$ing menure gang tribal tatted bandana wearing co^k suckers if they wanted one and if were willing to take two tables or break up their party they would get served faster. They were so rude and loud to this woman and they tried to intimidate her and the people in front of them. Some people left and as they did these jerk offs said shit like good I'm glad you are going by the way your wifes to fat to eat here any way holmes...or some shit like that. Several guys in our party were about to intervine when 3 older gentleman walked in and the pieces of shit shaped up immeadiately.
I would say that these men were about 55 to 65 years old. Not to big 5'9" to 6 foot and weighed around 165 lbs. They were dirty like they had been working in the hot sun in the dirt I suspect. Their levis were dusty and cowboy boots were red with dirt. One wore a cowboy hat and the other 2 NAPA AUTO baseball caps which were all dirty and sweaty. They wrinkled and tanned dark, one was either Mexican or Indian. As they strode in to Dennys they asked for a booth and said they would wait for the service and would take a cup of coffe as they waited along with ice water. Noticing there were no seats on the lobby sofa seats because the fu%#ing pieces of shit occupied all the seats one of the old timers asked the end seated gang banger if he would kindly surrender his seat to an old lady that was overweight and just looked she needed to get off her feet. Not surprisingly the piece of shit complied and the restuarnt was silent of their fu$@ing shit mouths for the rest of the morning and they were very well behaved to boot.
YOU SEE THOSE THREE OL'TIMERS WERE ALL PACKING WESTERN STYLE REVOLVERS ON THEIR HIPS HOLSTERED LEGALLY!
Now don't tell me a armed society isn't a more polite society!

That's awesome! I'm exhausted seeing this happen and it affects us in so many aspects of our lives. Weak ass dirt bags who have no backbone individually gang up and give the rest of us law abiders a hard time just because they don't respect themselves and sure as shit don't respect others.
Whatever it takes to get them in line and shut up makes me very happy. And if that involves toting around pistolas on our hips well then so be it. The silent majority deserves to be respected especially by lowlife POS.

The "6 footer" is actually 6-1", weighs more than he looks and "packs" a Rugar 454 Casale ... rather handy with it too. He's 59, never gets really riled and is pretty much a gentleman ...,

that would never happen in California.
Rather the gang bangers would start a fight, get taken out, then they would blame their beating on a bunch of "racists," even though they weren't racists, who would then be arrested and prosecuted under hate-crime statutes.
The media would convict them before their trial. Following their acquittal, east LA would burn from the impending riot.
    Isn't Cali great?

An armed society is a safe society. You would think twice about jumping some one or robbing them if you thought that they could have a gun. I often carry one in my car or in the boat (yes illegally), but some of the places I go I am a big minority and always outnumbered. For work, I freequent downtown Los Angeles quite often and I am always approached by someone who is asking for money and other handouts. I drive a nice truck in the not so nice of areas. Some of my friends have actually been carjacked in the areas I am in before. I don't worry about carrying a gun because 1) first offense is a mistermeanor, 2) a cop should have no reason for probable cause to search my car, 3) I have filed for a concealed weapons permit, and 4) I would rather have a gun and need one than not have a gun and need one. Luckily, I have never hit the point that I have needed one, but I feel that it is better to have one and have the option than to know you are in a situation and unable to defend yourselves.

This is a non issue for us Canadians, and I wish it wasn't, since there is no way we can carry a peice, but reading what you have written, it brings up the question of now that you have one would you actually use it if the time arose..probably..??..now what...are you the one in shit??. I can see this getting into a very deep opinionated topic, since there are so many ways of looking at it. You are probably saying yes..since it is better than being dead....What if someone used your piece on you?? Just a few questions I thought of..
Don't take this the wrong way since if given the opportuntiy I would carry one too...

It is true, it is a topic that is double sided. However, out here (in Los Angeles) 90% of the people that are carrying guns illegally are those who are a burden to society. I feel that if anyone wants to 1) pass a background check, 2) take a safety course, 3) demonstrate that they can use the gun properly, and 4) take responsibility for their actions when using the gun, they should be allowed to carry one. Maybe if good law abiding citizens were allowed to even the score a little, people would think twice about doing something that could get them shot.

Just north of Atlanta is a town called Kennesaw. About 10 years ago they passed a law requiring all Homeowners to own a gun. The crime rate in that town has dropped to almost zero. The law is unenforced and maybe not even constitutional, but it has never been challenged. Evidently just having the criminals know that the government has directed homeowners to have a gun seems to have convinced them to look elsewhere for victims.
