White water rafting

Just got back today from a trip on the lower Kern River..mostly Class 3 and Class 4 rapids...something I've wanted to do for a few years now...
What a kick in the ass!! if you've never done it you have to try it...This was the most fun I've had on the water next to using my own boat!!

We did a trip on the Deschutes up in Oregon last year. It was a blast.

Me and the Mrs. are trying to get onto one in Grand Canyon but the one day trips don't hit many gnarly rapids and we don't want to take up 4 days either...anyone been that can advise?

Pretty cool Greg, I had a hard time getting in last year up there, I want to try that River.
How was the water level below?

How was the water level below? Water level was good. The raft guide says they should be able to raft the lower Kern well into august this year..

Did you take the full 5 day trip?
I ran the Lower Kern many years ago and the part of the Snake river in Co a few years later. Both were a real a good time time. I would love to do it again. Just did the 1 day trip....still was a blast!
