Just sent you a PM.
Does anyone know an attorney that can deal with Ford on a motor problem? The problem is with Auto Nation and an extended warranty problem on a 1999 Expedition. The long and short of it is that it needs a motor, their problem, but they don't want to pay. I need an attorney who has delt with this subject before, and can write the correct letters to get the job done. Please let me know if anyone has anyone they can suggest. Thank you.

Just sent you a PM.My home email is listed in my profile, I'll check it out when I get home. Thanks...
have you bypassed the dealership and called the ext warranty company direct. If its a factory ford ext warranty not a 3rd party ins company your always better off. What kind of problems are you having with the vehicle and the dealer? I work for a dealership and sell ext warranties,im curious!
Look at your policy and see who the underwriter is. If it's a Ford policy, go to another Ford dealer. If it's an independent company (like Western General and others) call their customer service line for a list of dealers close to you that honor their contracts. If it's an in-house policy, it's time to raise some hell and possibly call Comsumer Affairs for a fraud investigation (dealers HATE it when you do that!). If they have given you specific reasons why they won't honor the warranty, address them one by one (undocumented maintainence, collision related, etc).
Good luck.
If you need help, email me, and I'll see what I can do.

The truck is a 1999 Ford Expedition with 55K miles on it, bought through Auto Nation with an Auto Nation extended warranty. The long and short of it is the thermostat froze, head gasket blew, motor full of water, and not gauge indication or trouble lights. Auto Nation said the thermostat was the problem, they will cover that, but the rest of the damage was from driving it hot and killing the remaining motor. No indication on gauges of being hot at all. This truck is owned by one of my business partners, I just don't want them to get the shaft from Auto Nation. Ford has been trying hard, but Auto Nation won't flip the bill for the new motor. I wanted to get involved and get this resolved since they haven't had a good experience up to this point. I'll need to get more into the details this weekend, I'm in Northern Cal, and the truck is in So Cal where the owner lives. Thanks for any input or ideas.
Hermosa, my brother blew up three (yes, I said three) motors in his F-150. So bad that connecting rods were laying all over the street. They tried to pull the same shit. Tried to blame the blown motors on the 33" tires on it, said it was an excessive load, and the large tires indicate aggresive off-road driving. (give me a break). We went directly through the extended warranty company. And made a few calls to the state agency who handles this. Engines were replaced every time.
Just a thought. If all else fails, call your county bar association, and ask for information on "lemon law" specialists in your area. While you situation may not be exactly applicable, these attornies are experts at the rights of consumers against dealers and manufacturers. If they can't handle the matter, they should refer you to someone who can. Good Luck.
Looks like I got it all taken care of, new motor on the way... The dealer worked hard to get Auto Nation to step up to the plate and pay up. Thanks for all the good feedback from you guys.
Man, I really feel for you. My brother had the same problem with his Expedition.Seems they have a bypass valve that restricts water. He took it back three or four times to the dealership, they did`nt know what was wrong. Finally took it to a new shop and that guy knew what was wrong. To late, already cracked a head. Wrote Ford twice,
Blew Him off.Came out of his pocket.
Man Hope you have better LUCK
