I don't think the ban is Canada wide, I think it's just around my part of the country. There isn't a lot of money around here, although we do have some bad ass combines.
When I get my lottery winnings I'm going to try one. I think the $$$'s scare some away that and the fact it would chew you up like a food processor but I guess thats true with all props.

Because,Little Mr....The people who were pushing jets so hard are busy spending all of their advertising dollars, and spare time, designing and testing, and trying to bring to market the first prop in front stern drive....... eek!

I wasn't aware that sales of jets have gone down signicantly in the last 10 years if anything if you count the sales of SeaDoo and other type sport jets I would think the market share has increased? Do you have any numbers to back this up? There probably has been a decline in performance type jetboats but it would be more due to the decline in 18-21' boat sales in favor of larger boats rather than a factor of the propulsion choice.
