Did anyone see what kind of boat was in the lanes of traffic Northbound 605 at about 4:15 P.M.on Tuesday? The AM radio said boat off of trailer blocking lanes.

The damage must not be too bad. Nothing has popped up on eBay yet.

It was Jenny 1. It was leaking and no paint or motor. The owner now cuts grass. For free!

I know the guy who had the mishap. He comes around the boards once in a while. He's a pretty guy and goes by the name "family man".

    Tom,
Do you know how it happened, and what damage was sustained?

well if he was on the 605 North, he was probably going to Puddlestone lake. I saw a cool boat on the 170 freeway a few months ago, it was a coast guard boat. It had the drives under the boat, and you could see the shafts bent under the boat, poor guy, they had a crane picking the boat up off the pavement.

My wife drove right by it. Apparently it was an older bayliner style boat and was sitting across the right 2 lanes of traffic Northbound near South St(North of 405 a bit) without a trailer. She first heard on the radio that there was a boat on the freeway, and then got to drive by it.
