Mine's not the Corvette version.
Other than that, I think it's just another Malibu.
IMO.

Now a boat for the 40 somethings that dont have a dick.
Yeah if you go on the malibu web site, most of the boats are available with the corvette engine, however they don't brag about extreme top speeds. The video clips show only top speeds of up to 55 I think..
You might get a laugh if you go into the malibu website, click on the video clip for the Sunsetter 23XTI. It makes for a few chuckles, yet lends an informative description of the boat. Attractive young lady as well.
I also have a Malibu, but I love the corvette edition, however, when it comes to skiing, nothing can beat our Echelon or the Response series- the Corvette is just for looks (IMO). I would buy one to chill in the Channel with.
However, I have news for the owner of that one for sale: You WILL NEVER see 70mph in that boat. 55mph is more accurate, and definately highly respectable for any tournament ski boat. I love the whole package, but it is just a ski boat dressed up in a fancy face.
Roln 20s
Yeah I agree Roln20's, it makes for an expensive boat yet lacks in the top end. However if you are looking for a boat with serious top end, a ski boat probably is not the way to go.. These boats have thier place, and I am sure they are exceptional performers in thier league. I would love to ride in one or better yet, ski or board behind one.
