I want to buy a Communications rack off ebay and I need to ship it from San Jose to San Diego. I need to find a company that will pick it up and wrap it or package it and then ship it to me in SD. Any recommendations on who to call?

What you need is to have a company covver the top with 2 blankets then strap it to a pallet. Try Pilot.

WetWillie, shipping heavy equipment is something I know a little about. There is a company in Fremont called Dunkel Cousins, they are machinery and heavy equipment movers and riggers. They can pick up wherever it is located take it to their yard pack it and have it ready for truck to get it. Their # is 510-226-6683, they only do the loading,unloading and packing though. I have a buddy up in Medford, Oregon that is a freight broker that can have it picked up and delivered for cheap. His name is Mike Galante @ Action Transportation # 880-994-4038, he'll need the weight and size, tell him Jamie sent you. Hope this rant helps.
