Okay, now I'm gonna have to throw the buzzkill on these proceedings.Soliciting potential boat names is in direct breech of the boating etiquette manual. The only individuals allowed to assign proper verbage to ones transom are 1.)The person in charge of the boat,2.)Her husband or 3.)immediate family members.Furthermore,in accordance with rule number 35,subsection 17A section 44.3.5a. paragraph 3 sentence two"all appropriate names shall be assigned only after incidents, circumstances and/or persons worthy of mention have been considered by afforementioned eligible members.
In other words,Coach, the thing that makes your boat's name special is that you named it for a special reason. If one of us named your boat it wouldn't have any sentimental value, would it?My advice would be even if you have to forego naming the boat until you come up with a proper name it will be WORTH IT(The name of my parents boat after seeing the look on the grandkids faces during their first ride in it!!.
