We had been beached in the channel and decided to take a ride down to Parker Dam and got caught up in all that mess. Even with all that wind it was a really nice weekend.
Last Saturday Havasu winds came up and churned up the lake with 4ft wind chop. We saw a 34ft DCB fly over the heavy chop like it was glass. I know I was feeling the rough water!!!

We left the channel about 02:00pm and headed towards Parker dam..as we were idling out, the wind started kicking up white caps and we were getting sprayed over the bow...after we were outside of the buoy's, it was a blast hopping and skipping over the caps, with a headwind, and trying to quarter the chop..it calmed down around Havasu Palms, but that was a fun ride...
After the Advantage Regatta, I rode in a 34 Magic with twin blown Mercury 575's. It was one of the most amazing boats I have ever been in. The chop did not exist for this boat. Almost makes you want to go big.
